Mold Can Grow In Places You'd Least Expect Them

Storms can wreak havoc on your homes, especially here in Southwest Florida where it rains, and it rains often. Moisture mixed with heat can be a nonstop breading ground for mold. Mold can cause a lot of damage to your home and cause health effects. In this case water found its way behind a built-in shelving center causing a large area of mold growth. When mold is hidden like that it is very easy for it to go undetected, which can cause effects to your health. SERVPRO of East Naples was able to come out to the home and find the root cause of the damage. We removed the shelving, and removed the drywall, we also used deodorizers and dehumidifiers to clean up the area. Once the mold was gone and the walls were dried out we replaced the drywall, now it is ready for a fresh coat of paint!
